Hi Ski,

I'm wondering if the elimination of the uptick rule is behind it - but even then, it could still mark capitulation on the part of sellers - just harder and faster than we're used to. In a word, I'll go with the most obvious explanation - that we're witnessing a bottom of sorts - but I'll also probably give a nod to seasonality and be a little more nimble in lightening up on bounces. -g/ng
