I think that's the (surprising) demographic (though I think it's a bit younger).

I guess the young folks are too cool to care about their country.

There are a lot parked in the lot at my gym as well but I think that younger people own them as well as older. I haven't really paid attention. What's real popular with guys just out of college is the mini cooper which I understand gets great gas mileage.
