Gib, I can provide you a reading list of hundreds of period works, standard history and biography by the best historians and scholars, not "conspiracy pamphlets" that I have here in my library and many which you could find there in a library or order from Amazon. You are a smart guy and could probably get through this stuff in a year or so at your leisure. What happened was that FDR and other New Dealers engaged in a whole host of illegal acts, first in an attempt to provoke Germany to war with us, and then failing at that, finally to illegally provoke Japan, war "by way of the back door" as Harold Ickes called it. Had the country know the truth about it at the time, Roosevelt would have been impeached and probably hung, as he should have been. Let me know if you want the reading list. Slagle
