Why do you think the possibility of a workaround is remote? I don't think I've ever made such a claim. One worrying point is all the he said, she said still going around. Some of the "cautionary statements" have been comming out of the mouth of qcom itself. Some have come from the carriers. If it was a clear cut workaround I think there would be less of that. So whatever the final outcome, I do think right now there is a great deal of uncertainty. And apart from engineering factors, if there is a legal factor my coin toss goes to brcm.
