For nearly 60 years, the Palestinians have been trying to make peace with the Zionists but the latter with the tacit approval of the US have always torpedoed the former's peace attempts. According to Professor Norman G. Finkelstein, Professor of Political Science at DePaul University (he was refused tenure, thanks to AIPAC), the Zionists don't want to make peace with the Palestinians lest the US would lose interest in them should they succeed. On the other hand, the US does not want peace between the Palestinians and the Zionists lest the Zionists would lose interest in the US and go their own way. These two premises are kind of humourous to me. But they do have a modicum of truth in them. By means of a variety of false flag operations, manipulations and machinations and artful propaganda, the Zionists have been portraying the Palestinians as expendable sub-humans and what not. And any attempts by the Palestinians to defend themselves were routinely labelled as terrorism against Israel while Zionist aggressions and terrorism were always euphemistically called defensive action. And Europeans who condemned the Zionist-US cahootery/collusion were criticized/ridiculed or subtly 'threatened' by the US. It is interesting to note that before the formation of Israel in 1948, Jews and Arabs have been living in peaceful coexistence in Palestine. But, after 1948, there have been nothing but trouble and all manner of flare ups and wars in Israel and elsewhere in the Middle East. What was responsible for them all? 1. Inveterate land grabs and criminal acts against the Palestinian people with tacit US approval. (Strange as it may seem, the US has been behaving like a first class hypocrite where its advocacy for human rights, fairness and natural justice are concerned!) 2. Overriding Zionist ambition (again with tacit US approval) to make Israel the regional power --- the Big Boss over everyone else in the ME; to ensure success, both Iraq and Iran which have the potential to challenge Israel, will have to be vanquished and subjugated to Israel's will. Hence the ongoing crises and turmoil in the Middle East and the battles and wars....................... ------------------------------------------ CAUSE & EFFECTThere is no smoke without a fire! Sow the wind, reap the wild wind! As you sow, so shall you reap! Do not unto others what you don't want done to you! ------------------------------------------------------- This US Administration and the Zionists will do well to heed the above age-old admonitions and injunctions and effect a peaceful solution in the ME. . .
