Peter may be obnoxious but you are wrong. Yes some things have indeed gone right for al quaeda since 9/11 but there is no more free lunch which was given to them by both Clinton and pre-9/11 bush. I dont say this to criticize the two presidents--unfortunatley we had bad intel and leaders who didnt understand how terribly serious these folks are. No more of that under bush and i think rudy and hillary will keep on fighting. The Al quada wet dream are amateurs like obama, edwards and romney. Pretty boys who they can manipulate. Obama comes from the goodie two shoes left, edwards thinks the WOT is a bumper sticker and romney thinks he can flip flop his way to office without a cogent foreign policy.

Bush turned Osama into a James Bond-type supervillian, swore he was going to "smoke him out of his cave" and "hunt him down dead or alive" - and failed totally! Which made Osama look even more of a genius. How many recruits did THAT bring AQ?

Bush has got to be the stupidest President we've ever had. Bush turned Osama into an Islamic hero and created the AQ movement we have today. Invading Iraq just made everything Osama was saying true for Islam.
