There have been many irrational moves in the market, but how oil can keep trading higher while the price of energy stocks sinks is beyond me. They're evacuating oil workers in the gulf because of the storms and oil service stocks get hammered. That's as irrational as I've ever seen. I sold some stuff this morning and I'm about 65% cash. This market is scary.

I am SO close to just selling everything, taking the loss, and NEVER going back to the market again.... The anger that I feel is irrational maybe, but it is growing by the day, and today is the worst, and I am usually pretty hard to shake up....... all I can hope for is these rare feelings are a sign that we are getting near some bottom.. and that is why I will NOT sell anything...not even ETFC at this point. It is now a matter of just being stubborn... and refusing to give away stocks. At least I have no margin calls to worry about. This market insanity has to end at some point.
