Probably my most serious health issue is smoking cigarettes. And how do you feel about condemning these guys in the military to a life of misery because of this war that did not have to be fought? See the guy below.....he shouldn't have gone to Iraq.....way too sensitive, too goofy, too fun loving......saw stuff at 20 one should never see. When he came back, he was not the same guy who went over......nightmares, paranoia, PSTD, irritable, prone to outbursts etc. Tried to work in the local mill.....after a year quit. The army wouldn't help him at first......didn't really see where there was a problem. A year or two later he threatened to commit suicide......he was going crazy inside his head. Finally the army saw him......he got 19 days in a rehab facility. Lindsey Lohan gets 45 days for her drinking problem but he got 19 days to get over what he saw in Iraq. After the 19 days were up, he couldn't get in to see a counselor.....always to busy but they kept sending him pills to medicate him. Finally, one night he overdosed.......dead at the age of 25. Where is the outrage?!! This is the human toll of this war from our perspective. I can't imagine what it is like from the Iraqi perspective. Sorry, but getting rid of Saddam is not worth this cost. Watching guys come home with no arms, no legs, dysfunctional.......war should only be fought for the defense of one's country where there is a legitimate threat, not what a paranoid Dick Cheney conjures up. And we call ourselves the good guys......when did we go bad?!!
