What's the point of having an L3 that's this small, and anything but 100% exclusive? If you are a core asking for data, why would you want to lookup data in L3 if the data is already in faster L2?

It may be in faster L2 of core 1, but when core 2 (3 and 4) are accessing it, it is faster to access the same data from L3.

I understood him as other cores data in the L3. I agree
it doesn't make sense to have the L2 of the same core in the
global L3.
