It appears that you'll have a choice of whether to get a Barcelona 2.0GHz for $390, an Opteron 2218 (2.6GHz) for $377, or a Harpertown E5420 (2.5GHz) part for $316. The higher speed grades will only give greater performance at greater price points.

While I agree demand for 95w 2 GHz parts will be low, the same is not true for 1.9 GHz or even 1.8 GHz 65w parts.

These will outperform AND have lower power than the 1.6 and 1.86 GHz 50w quad-core Xeons.

They will match performance of the top end 2 GHz L5335, but still use less power, including memory controller.
