Maybe our mission is to whack a mole and not create a new Iraq. We have attracted many AQ to Iraq. A good ground to fight them. We could not get to them in other countries like Pakistan, Saudi, Syria, etc. They are coming to us in Iraq. This is a war of decades. We should stay in Iraq with a small footrpint like Afghan and fight the terrorists who will always come to fight us there since we are in the center of their caliphate. Better there then here or other places. They won't stop so give them some place to fight which is good ground for us. The issue is not Iraq. Let Iraq worry about their own government and defense. It is just a battleground in the WOT for us. The terrorists want to kill Muslims as well as us evidently. We need to change the objective from winning in Iraq to using it as a killing ground, attracting ground and idealogical ground as terrorists expose themselves to the Iraqis and Arabs, and world. Rich
