It's of course complete guesswork, but I see Dow at 10,500 at the worst of it. Perhaps a bit less.

The credit bubble we are seeing bursting around us is far, far worse than the dot.com bubble bursting because it is global, larger in scope, and collateralized to a great degree.

The Fed and all of the global central banks have dumped nearly a third of a trillion dollars to plug the hole in the dike and it hasn't worked so far because the funny money credits and loans are so huge in amount. Even the central banks are going to have a hard time doing their job.

You think Cramer's rant was a mistake? He's a jerk in my book, but he understands the situation.
