I heard a radio report on Memphis, Tennessee. The temps for this August are setting a record high there. No rain, which they usually get, too.

Where I live the records are being threatened.


Meanwhile here its 58º and rain.....pouring down rain. I know, I know......its Seattle.......that is normal weather. Wrong! Not in the summer.......our climate in supposed to be more like LA's......warm and dry, no rain....but not this summer. I think we have had 4 days over 75º all summer. Not that I am complaining........
