len, Wow! That was an excellent succinct summary (in verse form) of American history from the time of the first settlers to George Bush in the White House and a sad commentary on your leaders and the American people. I wonder how many people who pride themselves as Americans actually know American history, or have read BURY MY HEART AT WOUNDED KNEE? It is remarkable how so much could be condensed in laconic form in verse and so tellingly, too! Thanks for the Steppenwolf's piece! Rich
