It sounds pseudo-elitist to me, and perhaps you didn't mean it to sound that way.... Of course I was referencing the dreaded elitism that the Republicans hereabouts so detest. If some blue intellectual, some pundit from the academy, some Democrat had used that word, he would have been ripped. Perhaps the American people, both Repubs and Dems, are really ready for a President who is a straight shooter, can express himself clearly, and that has America's interest first and foremost. Dunno about that. It appeals to me, but already on this thread there was criticism of his tack. Maybe folks aren't so ready. I went to find the link you forgot, and see it was yours.... I didn't forget the link. And my comment was above the title, which should have differentiated it, I thought. Maybe not.
