Do you think the gold stocks action today was due mostly to the smashing of the carry traders or may there be something else more fundamentally at work. My concern from a technical standpoint is that with the almost 1 1/2 years gold, HUI, and silver spent building a sideways, ascending bullish pattern, to have it break down may be an indication of need for a lot more work on the downside...it could amount to a fobo but a lot less likely with the time we spent in the sideways channel.
