From the looks of things, it would be cheaper to give those who don't pay taxes, and don't have a car, free bus passes and forget the light rail.

As I understand it, light rail isn't projected for the main areas of growth --North, South and East. Just for the Greater Seattle area....

From $800 to $1,257 and then add a 5%+ add on EACH year till doomsday, per EACH Taxpayer (notice that it doesn't say anything about the non-paying people who actually USE the transit system now.....) is simply OVER the top!

Edit: Gads, if I read that right, The Foundation thinks we already pay that amount....plus now, if the ballot passes, we will pay considerably more....

It will be VERY interesting to see how many people actually rode the Sounder train during this major I-90 repair...I believe I heard that the ridership is already down from the projected count....
