I have an already paid for upgrade to Vista just sitting there, and am inclined to just let it continue sitting for a while longer.

TSL,

I have heard that Vista is a disaster... so much that they're not even going to try to fix it but move on to the next operating system. A friend of mine had an awful experience with a new PC that came with Vista installed. Finally the seller gave him a copy of XP and now it works fine.

I have been testing Vista for many months without major problem. What error do you get when you open the spreadsheet? Is it Excel or something else?
