UW-Madison Named In 'Hottest Colleges' Ranking
University Named 'Hottest Big State School'

MADISON, Wis. -- University of Wisconsin-Madison was named one of Newsweek's top 25 "hottest colleges" in the country.

Newsweek called UW-Madison the "Hottest Big State School."

The criteria for hotness aren't specified, but the magazine references UW-Madison's great opportunities and old traditions.

Newsweek listed the hottest schools in 24 other categories. Boston College was named hottest for business; Cornell University was named "Hottest Ivy League School" and the University of Florida was named hottest for sports fans.
