It was silly, minor and of little import until it all turned to custard and "no downside" became suddenly a precipice and QCOM was over the edge like Wile E Coyote with no visible means of support. The conduct trial itself may have been of minor import to start with. However, one of the objectives of the litigation was to aquire usable missiles which are absolutely crucial to the conduct of MAD. In that respect it was/is of major strategic importance, and that gets into Board Chairman territory.
