There are numerouse ways to be in the market but not be in stocks. Some have made a killing in bonds if you look at the change in yields. some have made a killing in yen. but the biggest money today went to those who had access to pre market trades....and i bet nobody knows anyone who was able to go long in those few moments after the fed annoucement...yet some did.and you can bet they were not the little guys......think about it.. what was the spread 270 down to 170 up in about 4 minutes....pre market. a lucky few cleaned up risk free.
