It's interesting to note, so far as I'm aware, that CB Au buying has never, as in not since I've been around, been reported in the press. Has to happen, however, otherwise everyone's vaults would be empty (unless, of course, they've been reading Ray Kurzweil and have figured out a way to make the stuff :<) I wouldn't hold my breath for publication of the results of the IMF "audit".

That's about the best your going to get in terms of "news"......the axiom is "CB's don't buy gold", however, I think that's BS, particularly with Chindia/Shanghia Coop Org growth, Oil Producers $ Glut, etc. .....gold looks a heck of alot better than MBS to foreign bankers.....Coxe isn't recommending gold to his institutional clients without some fundamentals...listen to today's call .....all IMHO.
