My Marine Colonel friend commanded Fallujah a few years ago. He told me the #1 villain for them was often Halliburton and the arrogant Bushie mercenaries who were profiting richly from the war and want it to go on forever.

He also admitted that the occupation was creating scads of new terrorists that weren't there before, and that the Saudis are also not of friends. He is bitterly disapppointed about how the civilian leadership Bush-cheney have failed us all in Iraq, and failed the Iraqis as well.

Can you believe that 4 years later they still dont have running water, electrocity, gasoline, schools, etc. etc? We can never "win" if we don't provide those things, and we the taxpayers paid for them but never got them. So where did all the billions go? In the pockets of Halliburton types who just ripped us all off. We also can't win militarily. Everyone admits that. And things have gotten so bad that in order to make political solutions Bushies are not cutting deals with the very people we were demonizing a few years ago, including some of the gangs who had thrown in with Al Qaida. It's called a CLUSTERF**K and it's Bush-Cheney's fault, not demnocrats nor our military's.
