Not saying "no" doesn't equate to most Americans being glad about something...

The Canadian government will likely pay something. I'd love to know what it actually does end up paying. It certainly shouldn't be treated as a preferred provider or contractor. It should be billed at the non-insurance rate, in my opinion.

You can bet that any reimbursement paid to travelling Canadians won't approach the charges incurred in foreign countries, assuming those countries opt to chase them for the money.
