Yes, I can see how a bid could have been hanging out there (one can put in a buy order that lasts for as many days as a buyer stipulates) but Red is right. I think the only way is to get mad and beat on them on the phone. It was a chintzy move on their part, but at the same time, if the stock had opened at $ US 4 you wouldn't be upset. Stops are a blessing and a danger. That netherland of CDN stocks as US pinks is a bitch at times.
