i've been giving some additional thought to your barney frank moment the other nite.

i've decided that what bugged me most is the cheapness of it. here's a guy in the public eye, who for decades, has made no secret of his sexuality as a human being, simply put.

i have no interest in knowing what people do in their bedrooms. it bores me to know it. it does not change my thinking about people other than to say, if they push their proclivities "normal" or otherwise in my face, at best i rate them ill mannered or without good taste.

unfortunately, that's not how things work, and sometimes some people must let us all know with whom they sleep. for all the years i've been watching the news, frank did that, and nothing more, or less than that. a function of public disclosure.

if you knew anything about frank, and i don't know much, you'd know as an intellectual, a public policy analyst, he's as honest as they come, honestly working through ideas since his early unelected years in boston.

if you had 1% of frank's knowledge base and intellectual honesty, you'd find yourself unrecognizeable.

slapping people around crudely is no art, particularly when the subject is not only beyond unimportant, but out of some prudish problematic underlying hysteria as expressed by you.

i know all kinds of people. it never occurs to me to assign them a number, before i weigh the rest of them.

when i see people do that, and they do it in my space, i find it repugnant and yet another soiling of the environment.

its always a good idea not to let your enemies know how much you dislike them. the advantage goes to the enemy.

in your case however, you are in fact what you are, and there will not be change. you'll be there every time, at every gathering, at every event, low balling everything and everyone where you think it counts.

you've already fucked yourself. i don't have to tell you to do it.
