It will be to your detriment, Petz, to ignore this TDP conversation.

1. I addressed this in another post. Tj is the temperature at the silicon die and Tc is the temperature at the top edge of the IHS.

2. AMD and Intel both measure Tc, not Tj

3. I am happy to eat crow for making this statement:

"while keeping case temperature (also called junction temperature, or Tj)"
