Yah i'm wondering how a [30 day] overnight loan program is going to help a co like CountryWide. They're not going to suddenly write more loans?? [it's what they do, write loans] And they're not going to suddenly have fewer defaults. Who is going to use the [discount window]? The hedge funds, like GS, that had margin calls and have not marked to market.

The global economy [and faith or lack of faith in the markets] is a little bigger than cramer's myopic view of The dow dropping 1600 points and his boys on WS losing their jobs. This market would just as soon make a fool of cramer's ego .
