Would splitting the company absolve the QTL from it's FRAND obligations? That would be a pretty neat trick.

Just charge everyone $6 per patent per device... Seems to work for brcm. That would be equal application across the board.

FRAND....I guess that street runs both directions. Would you argue that BRCM is being FRANDLY with respect to QCOM?? We have requested a license for the power handling patent at several times the current going rate established by the Verizon contract (as testified by IJ in last weeks hearing) and they have refused.

I would say that is rather non-FRANDLY.
