You and I have already agreed that the article cheered the US system showing up the Canadian one. No? Yep. By way of explaining my poor choice of words, I noted that the cheering tone with regards to showing up the Canadians led me to attribute cheering also to the babies being born here, to ratchet up the reaction to these babies from "acceptance" to "glad" all the way to "cheering." A bit of affective slop-over on my part. Mea culpa, already. Okay. You were mistaken in that attribution. IMO this s/b the end of this.
