And I really believe we are at a dangerous crossroads in this country right now. But there is still hope and it could turn out to be a "heads we win, tails we win" sort of situation. It could be that sanity will return and we will be able to repair some of the damage done to the country by reforms. Or, it could be that we will continue down the globalist path to destruction and that this will produce the violent reaction needed for revolutionary change. Yes, part of the problem is the mistaken emphasis placed upon the supply side fole-de-role and the doctrinaire "free market solves every problem" fetish. But really, this sort of thinking is mostly associated with the little guy, the small biz "Chamber of Commerce" type of "conservative", the small town businessman and Bush supporter who hasn't figured out yet that Bush and his clique of Neo-cons are anything but conservatives and that they are wrecking the country and spoiling his kids future. Some of them are wising up, though and this is hopeful. What I think is the bigger element in all this is the "roundtabling" and "networking" going on at the level of the global elites, who are really our Enemy #1 in all regards. Take this trucking business. Sure, there are some "supply side" features here, but mostly I think there is a much larger agenda. For one thing, this would short circuit our west coast ports, knocking out the unions, but also put control of the entry of the China junk outside of US control. Then, there may be some "social policy" needs of the global elite being met, in that this would transfer wealth and jobs from us to the Mexicans, to maybe help them overcome the damage done to the Mexican working class by NAFTA. And this may be part of a bigger swindle, where the Mexican "1000 Family" plutocrats may be engaged with some Texas billionaires and others to enable them to jointly exploit various Mexican natural resources, which since 1936 have been off-limits to foreigners. It think the problem may be part the "culture of unbridled greed" at a lower level, coupled with some very ambitious but secretive "one-world" scheming at a higher level. Slagle
