You would certainly have my vote for thread moderator. I might suggest though starting a new thread, perhaps Got a Great Recipe to Share II. The reason I suggest this is you could then make it a moderated thread and actually ban people or give them a time out. This thread is unmoderated and the only power you would have is to ask someone to behave themselves and it would be up to the individual to comply or not.

Just a thought.

As for what to expect from the thread I think other then the disturbance the other day I was getting what I wanted from this. Some recipe's, ideas and friendly chatter.

Having just read Oral's post, that is a wonderful suggestion, or change the name entirely to "Bill's Recipe Thread" or "SI's Recipe Thread"...etc. so no one could confuse the two recipe threads.

That way we could start fresh and you could post the web sites and cook books that have been suggested through the years, plus it would be a moderated thread to boot. to boot...no pun intended..

If you don't have anything to do, don't do it here..." sounds applicable?

Perfect!

I think SI Dave can change the mod/non-mod status if you PM him (rather than having to start a new thread).
