The NYT has a long piece called The Politics of God.

"Understanding this difference is the most urgent intellectual and political task of the present time. But where to begin? The case of contemporary Islam is on everyone’s mind, yet is so suffused with anger and ignorance as to be paralyzing. All we hear are alien sounds, motivating unspeakable acts. If we ever hope to crack the grammar and syntax of political theology, it seems we will have to begin with ourselves. The history of political theology in the West is an instructive story.."

The count is now 25. Funny, that could be the number who are awake and at least reading the post. Or could be that some agree and some don't agree. Some perhaps mean their 'recommend' to be a neener.

OR most likely, they are just simply "Recommending this Post".... for whatever reason.

Remember, Lane.....just like any other thread, this one has many bookmarks, and only a small percentage post at any given section.

Recommend means Recommend.

Unless you have any other interpretation of the word. <gg>

"I can't believe that there are 21 people on this thread who are so stupid as to "agree" in any rational way..."

That is trolling!

Edit!

I withdraw the above comment.

I thought your post that started this was trolling.

Your post quoted above proves it.
