I remember reading that most of First Magnus loans (a very high percentage) were soon bought by CFC. But maybe i'm mistaken.

Some say First Magnus Financial is a magnum opus. Great work or no, it appears to be doing great work. Mortgage banker First Magnus is ranked one of the nation's top wholesalers. No minor feat considering this small, private firm is in competition with major public players like Countrywide Financial and Washington Mutual. It operates a wholesale division and a retail division (primarily operating under the brand Charter Funding, but also Great Southwest Mortgage and Frost Mortgage) with about 300 branches across the US. The company's correspondent lending division offers its mortgage banking platform to small to midsized community and mortgage banks, and credit unions
