"Stephens City, VA???? Bristow? Yikes. Sounds like another planet." Bristow is very close to Manassas. One can take the VRE commuter rail from Manassas to get downtown in 45 minmutes. Bristow, Gainesville, and Lake Manassas are quite close to the new office complexes sprouting up around Dulles Airport in Chantilly, Westfields, and Dulles Corner. It's merely a 15-30 minute commute to those jobs, perhaps 30-45 minutes to Fairfax and Fairfax Lakes, and 1 hour to Tysons Corner. Stafford, Daly City, and points south are bedroom communities for commutes into Springfield/Franconia, Alexandria, and the Pentagon. centexhomes.com
