Predicting: Research has shown that people who are able to best predict the future are those whose left and right hemisphers are balanced.

This often creates a problem for economists. It takes a large left brain to get through the math for a PHD in economics, but if that large left brain is not balancd by an equally large brain, the economist cannot predict as well as one would think.

Re Thurow, I was speaking to his ability to comprehend very abstract concepts.
