We had no trouble breathing actually and my daughter is particularly sensitive. Saw one N95 in two weeks except folks working in food trade. If that is recent a lot of my pictures are like that... It's overcast, humid and sweltering.. 40 degrees at times.. rainy season.. Not saying no pollution... but pictures are misleading... You should see how clean the highways are, and the gardens used to make them fit in..... and lack of litter.. Put Canada to abject shame..

Take a similar picture of a freeway in LA if you want to see cars. The number of cars in China is an odd lot compared to the West.
