I'd switch from E-Trade -- that was dumb on their part.

Doesn't surprise me that the credit contraction could kill some miners before it is over. Hard for them to get money sometimes ...

Found this in CR's comment section:

"I forgot that I have the Etrade presentation at work they gave out to institutional investors this week. If memory serves, they had almost as many 2nd liens in portfolio as 1sts. Those seconds will have to be written down 20-30 points at least from last quarter's balance sheet."

"I checked out ETrade's public statement again, which, curiously, does in fact omit the percentage of second liens. It also includes this gem:"
