Maybe it's because you've read history and know the Christianity is an integral part of Western Civilization. That when the left distorts and lies about Christianity it does it to discredit Western Civilization,which it wants to destroy. And since you were formed, nurtured, and sustained by Western Civilization, when you see attacks on Christianity you perceive it as an attack on you.

I suspect it's the second.

I, too, search for possible explanations for your reactions to my bids. I have a list of possibles through which I cycle, never really nailing it down. Today I favor the explanation that you are a political creature while I am not and I am a curious creature while you are not. Ne'er the twain shall meet.
