Oh yeah, gone are the days when all you had to do was just show up, show them your old license, pay the renewal and off you go. 10, 15 minutes tops. It took me over 4 hours to renew mine last year. Did the renewal by mail but that's only good for a few years. They want you to come in to add to the congestion every few years or so. No place to sit, had to stand. Most people didn't even speak english in there. How can you get a drivers license and not speak good enough english, you have to have an interpreter?
