i am a Christian...we believe you all go to heaven. gays blacks..etc etc.. you are all children of God , he forgives you. welcome to the kingdom of heaven. most Christians today order their religion practices from the menu. I doubt you can classify a Christian as "many are intolerant" I know plenty and they could care less what you think or how you act or if you go to heaven or hell. Mostly , they mind their own business. Now we got all kinds of Christians.. we got those running for office that go to church and take communion when they are running.. we got those who go for easter and christmas.. we those who go for weddings and funerals... we even have some who go to church on sunday.
