I'm sure it would be a nightmare many people would regret. With all of the MSM bad-mouth, it's easy to forget that about 80% of Americans are fairly happy with their coverage. When push comes to shove, and they are faced with it being replaced with a single-pay Government system, it's going to take a lot to get them to go along. What the British Socialists did in '45 was to dramatically increase what the Doctors were paid. Our Pols would have to do the same PLUS make big promises to us that they couldn't keep.
