Crystallex Can't Explain Stock-Price Drop Of Recent Sessions

14:22 EDT Monday, August 20, 2007

DOW JONES NEWSWIRES

Crystallex International Corp. (KRY) isn't aware of any adverse corporate developments - other than general stock-market conditions - which could account for the drop in its stock price over the last week and a half.

Crystallex is up 2 Canadian cents in Toronto Monday, to C$2.81. However, it closed down in the previous seven trading sessions, from a level of C$3.52 on Aug. 8.

Crystallex, a Toronto-based gold producer active in Venezuela, also said that, to its knowledge, the process for the issuance of the environmental permit for Las Cristinas remains on track.
