I have said all those things in my various posts, the most important point being that our government has placed restraints on any Christians, or on members of any religion for that matter, when the overzealous attempt to impose or use force.

I also said the fundamentals could be different, but that the psychology that drives extremists is similar. That was the difference in POV I was trying to clarify with Brumar.

Actually Christianity did all those terrible things in its day. As I also said, we've come a long way, and I am pleased with us.
