re: The loan presumes that the recipient will have gotten a salary increase to cover this increase in the loan payment. Have you ever heard of a better formula for disaster? And also that the underlying will have appreciated. When neither happens... Maybe we should open the floodgates to immigrants and hope we can build a market for these houses. I think the better approach is to get the builders to stop building so many. And looks like the only way that will happen is when one of them goes belly up.
