Sorry, Lane, but I find comments like these to be about as meaningless as the label in the context of the Amanpour piece:

And this one is just another unsubstantiated opinion:


The liberals on the flexibility continuum are more adaptable and tolerant, which is of value in a pluralistic society


Actually, I've not found that to be so. Many liberals are extremely rigid in their POV's, as the threads around SI show. What are nothing more than opinions routinely get offered up as the secular version of holy screed.
