The majority of Christians are not fundamentalists. A sizable minority of Christians are barely Christians, let alone believers in a young earth.

Amen to that! The problem is that those who do believe in a "young earth", and are fundamentalists, are the loud ones trying to pound their beliefs on to Christians - and others - they do not agree with.
