Some scientists have concluded that stress is making us fat. They have shown that stressful situations like those at work prompt people to experience the Fight or Flight response. However, the person can neither flee or fight. As a result the sugar that's the body releases in the form of adrenalin has no where to go. So the body restores it not as sugar but as fat and returns it not to the places from which it came but rather in the stomach area of men and on the hips of women.

Agreed, except that the fat is stored in stomach area of women as well. The hip fat is not the bad kind (well, let me restate that, not the worst kind).
