Let's get real. Do you think a fully active HT port to another 3 GHz Barcelona would add more than 5 watts to the TDP. You're conflating 2 issues: #1 The 3GHz Phenom demos have been at unspecified TDP, with no benchmarking allowed #2 A single Phenom does not need to have multiple cHT links active. Might there be small added power? Sure, but there might also be stability issues / bugs that are not uncovered when cHT is not in use. The X5365 Clovertowns shipped at 150W for 5-6 months, not 9. They are now at 120W, on the G0 stepping. Tigerton has been shipping since June... that launches in 2 weeks.
