I think they bet on football games. If anyone who made any bets was to be suspended it would probably be over half the NFL.

I agree with the general points of the article namely,

1 - Vick's career is likely over (although not certainly over)

2 - Vick dug his own hole, by doing what he did, and then continuing it and continuing to lie about it.

3 - "It's nothing short of ludicrous that he threw away such a career and earning power by being involved in an illegal dogfighting betting ring."
